HeptaMix is rich in organic copper, organic zinc, organic manganese, organic iron, organic cobalt, organic selenium (seleno-methionine) and organic chromium (chromium-methionine), which prevents and reduces the incidence of wool-eating in sheep and goat farms.

Organic chromium can regulate the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats in the body, by regulation of glucose metabolism, which leads to reducing the incidence of metabolic diseases, such as ketosis.

Organic selenium can be absorbed by different methods such as simple diffusion, accelerated diffusion and active transfer in the intestine due to the binding of selenium ion to the amino acid methionine, while sodium selenite can be adsorbed only by the simple diffusion method. Therefore, organic selenium has a higher absorption than sodium selenite.
